Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students to and from school and activities. You may also support classrooms by partnering with the Lead Teacher to create meaningful learning experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a safe vehicle, transporting students on schedule, engaging with children during activities and meals, noting developmental observations for the

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for Before and After School programs.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements.
