Huntington Coach LLC on Long Island is hiring School Bus SUV, van and school bus drivers. Enjoy competitive pay, flexible schedules, and a chance to positively impact students by ensuring safe commutes.

Starting pay is $30.97/hour with CDL A/B (P and S) endorsements for buses or Class C with endorsements for vans; CDL training is provided. Flexible, up to 25 hours per week, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and benefits options including paid time off and a 401(k) plan.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Possess a NYS CDL Class A or B with P and S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P and S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through our free training).
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and maintain CDL guidelines compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a school bus, van or SUV to transport students to and from school safely and on time.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as district requirements and standards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
