Huntington Coach Corporation is seeking drivers to transport students safely on a split-shift schedule on Long Island, NY. CDL training is offered if needed, with pay rates starting at $26.61/hour for van drivers and $30.64/hour for school bus drivers.

Flexible scheduling allows up to 25 hours per week. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k) with match, and life insurance. CDL training and insurance options are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Possess NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willing to obtain via free training).
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check and stay compliant with CDL regulations.
• Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver's license and complete CDL permit training.

Responsabilités

• Operate a school bus, van or SUV to transport students to and from school safely and on time.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and district requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting when necessary.
