Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking school bus drivers to safely transport students in Illinois using Zūm’s technology platform. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and positive student interactions while supporting a community-focused mission.

Qualifications

• 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided).

• Ability to work split AM/PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report any issues
• Maintain and follow routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality
• Create a safe, positive environment by managing student behavior and ensuring all passengers’ safety

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum age: 21 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements additional certifications required by your state for legal school bus operation and 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided for non-certified)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children
