Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. seeks school bus drivers to transport students safely using our modern, tech-enabled platform. You will operate vehicles, adhere to routes and schedules, and maintain a positive environment for children’s safety and comfort.

Requirements include 21+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CDL or willingness to obtain one. A clean driving record and ability to pass background checks are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report any issues
• Maintain and follow routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality
• Create a safe, positive environment by managing student behavior and ensuring all passengers’ safety

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum age: 21 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements additional certifications required by your state for legal school bus operation and 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided for non-certified)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children
