Job summary

Centro de la Familia in Colorado is seeking a Bus Driver to transport children and families to program activities, homes, and field trips. You will maintain a clean, safe vehicle and operate under the supervision of our Lead Bus Driver.

Responsibilities include classroom/in-wheel training, safety procedures, wheelchair lifts, and daily safety checks, with a hiring bonus of $1,000 for credentialed candidates.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
• Current in-state CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsement or other state-specific criteria.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus safely to transport children and families to activities, homes, and field trips.
• Participate in annual reviews and behind-the-wheel training with a State Certified School Bus Instructor.
• Load/unload children, ensure proper restraints, and monitor route stops and schedules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks, including wheelchair lifts and restraints.
