The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NC commercial driver’s license with passenger and bus endorsements. Training is provided; compensation is $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid NC CDL with passenger and bus endorsements.
• Minimum age 18; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus for transporting students to and from school, activities or events.
• Perform pre- and post-trip bus inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain passenger safety and discipline; complete disciplinary forms as needed.
• Record mileage and maintain routes and related records.
• Assist with daily bus cleaning and fueling as needed.
