Job summary

Cristo Rey Richmond High School Inc is seeking a Bus Operator to safely transport students and act as a positive ambassador for our school community in Richmond, VA. The role includes morning/afternoon routes, work-study transport, and event shuttling.

Required: Virginia CDL with P and Air Brake endorsements, clean driving record, and ability to pass DOT screens. CPR/First Aid is a plus. Competitive compensation with benefits and attendance bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Passenger (P) and Air brake endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on scheduled morning and afternoon routes.
• Drive students to and from work study placements.
• Transport students to athletic events, field trips and school activities.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment on the bus.
• Follow all state and federal transportation regulations.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, faculty and staff.
• Report vehicle concerns promptly.
• Complete required documentation and route records.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:
