Job summary

Union Elementary School District in Tolleson, AZ is seeking dependable Bus Drivers to provide safe transportation for students to and from school, field trips, and district activities. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain clean buses, and communicate with students, parents, and staff to ensure safety and timely arrivals.

Requires a Class B CDL, Bus Driver’s Certificate, CPR/First Aid, AZDOT physical and background clearance, and strong safety and communication skills to

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students along assigned routes and to school activities.
• Ensure student safety during loading, unloading, and transportation.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce transportation safety expectations.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain assigned buses in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, and road hazards.
• Complete required transportation, inspection, mileage, and incident records.
• Communicate transportation information with students, parents, and staff as needed.

• Must successfully complete criminal background/fingerprint clearance.
• Ability to safely work with and communicate effectively with school-age students.
