Job summary

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to transport program participants to and from designated sites. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safe boarding and disembarking under YMCA policies and child-safety protocols.

Required are a CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record. Availability is Monday–Friday during school year and summer, with a $500 sign-on incentive and benefits like complimentary

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a responsible and safety-focused School Bus Driver to transport program participants to and from designated program sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a positive, supportive attitude aligned with the YMCA’s mission. Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a YMCA School Bus
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate transportation logs
• Ensure the safe boarding and disembarking of passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, YMCA policies, and child safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Previous driving experience with children or group transportation
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday 6:45AM-9:00AM and 2:00PM-4:00PM during the school year; Monday-Friday from: 8:30AM-4:00PM during the summer
