Job summary

NRT Bus in Needham, MA is hiring a School Bus Driver (Part Time) to safely transport students to and from school and events on local routes. This role offers a split shift (AM/PM) with weekdays only, no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Earn $36.05 per hour (effective 8/24/26) plus paid training at $20/hour and charter/activities pay. A sign-on bonus of $8,000 is available, with guaranteed minimum hours and opportunities for extra hours.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements required or willingness to obtain — training provided.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes.
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $36.05 (Effective 8/24/26)

• Paid Training: $20/hour

• Charter/Activity Trips: $27.81/hour (Effective 8/24/26)

• Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM)

• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays

• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
