Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver in Chelmsford, MA. Paid training is provided; CDL holders with P&S endorsements earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Pay ranges from $28.84 to $31.24 per hour, with additional pay for charter/activity trips and a separate training rate.

Schedule is part-time with split AM/PM shifts on weekdays only, and weekly pay with guaranteed minimum hours. No nights, weekends, or holidays; great for local community involvement.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

School Bus Driver (PartTime) NRT Bus | Chelmsford, MA

No CDL? No problem. We provide paid training.

Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements? Earn a $5,000 SignOn Bonus.

Pay & Schedule Pay: $28.84- $31.24/hour (effective 8/24/26)

Paid Training: $20/hour

Charter/Activity Trips: $27.81/hour

Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours.
