Part-Time School Bus Driver

No CDL? No problem! We offer PAID pre-permit training to help you get your CDL permit while you drive a mini-van!

Are you a fully licensed CDL driver (A or B) with S&P endorsement? If yes, join our growing team and earn a $2K sign-on bonus through June 30th, 2025!

Have just a regular driver's license? No problem, we offer paid training and a $1K sign-on bonus through June 30th, 2025!

We are currently hiring bus drivers and driver trainees at DS Bus in Merriam/Shawnee Mission.

Our ideal candidates live in the Merriam/Shawnee Mission area, work well with children, can pass a drug test and background check.

Rates:

• Training: $14.00/hr
• Revenue: $21.63 - $26.00/hr

Additional bonuses:

Driver Responsibilities

Transport clients safely and timely, perform pre-trip inspections, child checks post-route, and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations.

Sign-on Bonus Eligibility

Employees must work both AM and PM routes, remain in good standing, and meet route requirements. Good standing involves meeting job expectations, following policies, and avoiding disciplinary issues.

Bonus Payment Schedule

50% after 60 days on route, and 50% after 120 days on route.
