Job summary

Easterseals NH & VT is recruiting School Bus Drivers for the 2026–2027 school year in Manchester, NH. This is a full-time, school-year position with morning, mid-afternoon, and afternoon shifts.

Training is provided to obtain a School Bus Certificate, and drivers earn competitive hourly pay with CDL credentials. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO from day one, holidays with a floating holiday, 403(b) matching, and tuition reimbursement after one year.

Qualifications

• Must have a NH driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Paid training to obtain a School Bus Certificate.
• Background check, DOE check, drug testing and required DOT physical.
• Candidates in Manchester with off-street parking may take the bus home.

Job description

Job Description: Easterseals NH is hiring School Bus Drivers for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a non union role. Retired professionals or recent high school graduates looking to make a meaningful impact in the community and be a friendly, reliable presence for passengers, this is the role for you.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or related experience
• The ability to obtain a School Bus Certificate – we provide paid training!
• Valid NH driver's license and a good driving record
• Candidates must also have a favorable background check, DOE check, pass drug testing and successfully complete the Department of Transportation physical
• Drivers who reside in Manchester and have off-street parking may also have the opportunity to take the bus home

Hours

• This is a full-time (30+ hours), school-year position, Monday through Friday
• Morning – 6am-9:30am
• Mid-Afternoon – 11:30am-1pm
• Afternoon – 1:30pm-4:30pm

Compensation

• Starting rate is $21.50 hourly for qualified drivers
• Candidates with CDL certification start at $22.50 hourly
