Job summary

STA Family of Companies is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school on established routes in Region 17. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, adhere to safety standards, and participate in regular safety meetings.

Qualifications include a valid CDL with S and P endorsements, at least 21 years old, and a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving record. Training and local management support are provided.

• Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving experience.
• Must have a clean driving record within the past 24–36 months.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment background checks.
• Must meet all DOT and company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route, picking up and dropping off student passengers at established bus stops.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safe operation of the bus.
• Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean the bus as needed to maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's standards.
• When requested, drive field trips, athletic trips, and charter runs to transport students and other passengers safely.

Come join our team! As a School Bus Driver, you'll have the support of a dedicated local management team and receive the training needed to perform your job safely and with care. School Bus Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school along established routes, following school bus and bus stop safety standards, completing daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring a safe ride for every student.

We are currently seeking licensed CDL drivers with "S" and "P" endorsements to transport students to and from school on established routes in Region 17 .
