Now Hiring Part-Time School Bus Drivers for Bowling Green, MO

As a First Student Part-Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community by transporting students safely to and from school. No prior experience is required; we provide industry-leading training to help you succeed.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• A split shift with early morning pickup and afternoon drop-off, with free hours in between
• A guaranteed 4-hour shift per school day, with no night or weekend work unless desired
• Additional hours through trips and charters when available

Benefits:

• Starting wage between $22.25 and $25.70 per hour, based on experience
• Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits and 401k Retirement Plans (benefits may vary by location)
• $200 Commercial Learner’s Permit bonus*
• Paid holidays
• Paid CDL training for those without experience
• Child-Ride-Along Program for working parents

Ideal candidates:

• Do not need a college degree or high school diploma
• Have military experience
• Are returning to work or seeking a second job
• Are retirees or looking for a career change

Candidate requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Subject to DOT drug testing; no use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana
• Must obtain Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) within 15 days of accepting the offer; bonus expires 04/30/25
