Job summary

Sunrise Transportation is hiring a School Bus Driver for the Bellwood, IL facility to transport students safely and on schedule. You will greet students, maintain a safe environment, and communicate clearly with dispatch and parents.

No prior experience with school buses is required; our trainers will teach you the CDL and school bus certification. We offer healthcare, PTO, 401K, and flexible, weekend-free schedules to fit families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a commercial driver's license with a school bus permit.
• Valid driver's license for 3 consecutive years in good standing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus and transport students in a safe and courteous manner.
• Greet students, ensure on-time schedule and maintain a safe environment.
• Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns.
• Other duties as required.

Job Location: Bellwood, IL 60104; Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly; School Bus Transportation Driver.

Lakeview Bus Lines is actively hiring school bus drivers for their Bellwood facility located at 2400 Maywood Drive, Bellwood, Illinois. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers to help transport our Special Ed Students to and from school. Experience is not needed for this position; our elite team of trainers will teach and train you to be a license and certified School Bus Driver. Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 21 years old to drive a large bus and ability to secure a CDL with school bus permit
• A valid driver’s license for 3 continuous years and in good standing
• Excellent customer and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Requirements

• Sit for extended periods of time
• Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance
• Move up and down stairs easily
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
