Job summary

Illinois Central School Bus is seeking a part-time bus driver in Chicago, IL. No prior school bus experience is required; we will provide CDL training and endorsements. You’ll meet students with a friendly attitude and ensure safe transport, with help loading/unloading as needed.

Requirements include being 21+, holding a valid license for 3+ years, and passing background checks, drug tests, and a physical. Flexible hours with benefits and school-holiday time off are available.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet students with a smile and positive attitude.
• Safely transport passengers.

We are proud to offer:

• Current rate: $22.65 - $29.20 per hour
• Pay is based on experience, see location for details *
• Paid weekly
• No weekends required
• Time off during school holidays
• Weekly Attendance Bonus - $2.00 per hour (must work Monday - Friday, all shifts AM & PM)*

Hours:

• Route Hours guaranteed 4 hours per day when school is in session for the A.M./P.M. route package*
• Additional work hours available with mid-day routes, field trips and charters
• Summer School routes available – Work year-round with School Holiday breaks
