Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, customer service, or operations support preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly when service needs change.
• Comfort using computers, email, phones, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and/or transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily route coverage and driver assignments for the assigned location.
• Communicate route updates, delays, schedule changes, and service needs to drivers and leadership.
• Monitor daily service and help resolve route, driver, vehicle, or customer-related issues in real time.
• Review driver sign-in, sign-out, attendance, and route coverage information.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, route updates, records, and related operational documentation.
• Partner with operations leadership to support safe, reliable, and on-time service.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, customers, school district contacts, and internal teams.
• Support compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and applicable transportation requirements.
• Assist with additional location support, reports, projects, or operational needs as assigned.
