Now Hiring School Bus Charter Drivers for Junction City, Kansas

As a First Student School Bus Charter Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there to set out with students for field trips, sporting events, and other charter engagements and at the end of the event to bring students safely back home.

No experience as a bus driver is required! We’re proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed.

Your day will include:

  • Driving special shifts for school events
  • Additional hours gained through non-school related charter events as well
  • No regular routes! Drive when you are available as trips are booked

School Bus Driver benefits:

  • $19.00 / hour starting wage, based on school bus driver experience.
  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits plus 401k Retirement Savings Plans (Benefits offered may vary by location or CBA)
  • No experience necessary. We offer paid CDL training!

This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
