Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking a Building Repair technician to support the Custodian Supervisor in the general maintenance of facilities and to help provide a safe, comfortable learning environment for students and staff. The role requires coordinating maintenance schedules and completing preventativ e maintenance work orders as assigned.

This full-time position offers an 8-hour day (6:00am - 2:30pm, M-F) at a wage range of $31.86 to $32.47 per hour, with eligibility for district benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance, mechanical and equipment repair/servicing.
• Ability to obtain Minnesota licenses as required (Chief Class C Engineer, unlicensed electrician, pool license).

Responsibilities

• Support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission by maintaining facilities and coordinating building maintenance schedules.
• Complete preventative maintenance work orders as assigned to ensure a safe, functional environment.
