Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Building Repair staff member at Edina High School to support a safe, functional learning environment. You will maintain facilities, coordinate maintenance schedules, and respond to preventative work orders under the Custodian Supervisor.

The position is full-time, 12-month, 8 hours per day (6:00am–2:30pm). A high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in building maintenance are required, along with licenses or the ability to obtain Minnesota Chief

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance, mechanical and equipment repair/servicing.
• Ability to obtain Minnesota Chief Class C Engineer License.
• Ability to obtain Minnesota Unlicensed Electrician License.
• Ability to obtain a pool license for required facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general building facilities and coordinate maintenance schedules.
• Complete preventative maintenance work orders.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for students and staff.

Education

High school diploma or GED

3 years experience in building maintenance, mechanical and equipment repair/servicing

Minnesota Chief Class C Engineer License

Minnesota Unlicensed Electrician License

Pool license for required facilities
