Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of safe and efficient boiler operation, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and printed instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely with various tools and equipment.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gas and electric boilers, hot water heaters and pumps.
• Install new boilers and replace components such as burners and heat exchangers.
• Maintain peak efficiency and perform annual boiler service.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff and school personnel to resolve issues.
• Prepare simple written reports after completing work orders.
