The School Behavioral Health Coordinator at MUSC Community Physicians works within both clinical and school teams to coordinate telehealth services and screen assessments. This role requires strong communication, independent work, and collaboration with medical professionals across the Charleston tri-county area.

Bachelor’s in social work (or related CSWE-accredited program) and MSW licensure are preferred; one year of post-graduate social work experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related program accredited by the CSWE.
• MSW licensure by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners preferred.
• One year post graduate professional social work experience preferred.

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina.

Under the supervision of the School Therapy Manager, the School Behavioral Health (BH) Coordinator works as both part of the clinical team and as part of the school team to coordinate the provision of services by the telehealth provider. This position facilitates screening assessments, referral management, family contact, and telehealth equipment.

Demonstrates ability to collaborate in a positive, professional manner with medical professionals. Requires ability to work in a thorough but efficient manner. This position will be posted in schools in the Charleston tri-county area.
