Responsibilities

• Participate in assessment of students' behavior through interviews, observations and consultations.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop positive behavioral interventions.
• Assist and support instruction for behaviorally challenged students or small groups.
• Assist students in modeling appropriate skills and behaviors.
• Assist in de-escalation and crisis intervention.
• Maintain a safe and caring school climate.
• Support teachers in meeting social/emotional and instructional needs.
• Supervise students to ensure a safe environment.
