Qualifications

• 60 college credit hours or equivalent required.
• Passed ParaPro Assessment by 2013-09-23 or equivalent credential.
• Passed Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson between 2013-09-23 and 2024-06-20 or equivalent.
• Passed ParaPro Assessment through ETS from 2024-07-01 onward or equivalent.
• Completed the 20HR Substitute Certificate Course.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a CBSS classroom for communication, behavior, and social skills.
• Work 1-1 with a student or small groups, collecting data on programs.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher, behavior consultant, and behavior technician on goals and plans.
• Learn and apply ABA-based behavior intervention techniques.
• Support students with autism and positive behavioral supports as needed.
