Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a Wellness Coach to join the Multicultural Learning Center in Canoga Park, CA. The role delivers SEL lessons during the school day, runs small groups and 1:1 sessions, and supports transitions.

Hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with the hourly range of $28.84–$33.99 based on experience. The Wellness Coach works under the Site Coordinator and MLC’s licensed supervisor, ensuring alignment with behavioral plans and billing documentation while promoting

Qualifications

• Wellness Coach Certification (CWC) required or eligible to complete.
• Minimum 2 years of youth experience in a school, community, or therapeutic setting.
• 2+ years in a learning environment within diverse communities.
• Must be able to attend onboarding and trainings at Woodcraft Rangers' facilities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; able to work independently within a shared-oversight structure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver push-in SEL lessons aligned to MLC's calendar (TK–5th grade).
• Facilitate pull-out small-group and 1:1 sessions.
• Provide structured support during recess and lunch.
• Coordinate with MLC's school psychologist, social worker, and teachers.
• Complete session documentation for billing and compliance.
• Refer students to MLC Administration per protocol.
• Support afterschool programming with the same SEL themes.
• Work under the shared-oversight model with MLC and WR.
