Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers seeks a Wellness Coach to deliver SEL instruction in a school-based setting at Multicultural Learning Center. The role includes push-in lessons, 1:1 coaching, and small-group work, with coordination of schedules and documentation for billing and compliance.

During afterschool, the coach extends SEL themes and supports continuity across the student day under shared oversight with MLC. The ideal candidate brings experience with youth, strong communication, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Wellness Coach Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• 2+ years of experience with youth in school, community, or therapeutic settings
• 2+ years of experience in learning environments with diverse communities
• Must reside in or commute to the San Fernando Valley/Canoga Park area
• Smartphone capable for work communication

Responsibilities

• Deliver push-in SEL lessons aligned with MLC's calendar (TK–5th)
• Facilitate pull-out small groups and 1:1 coaching sessions
• Provide structured support during recess and lunch and transitions
• Coordinate with MLC staff and document sessions for billing/compliance
• Refer students to MLC Administration per protocol
• Support afterschool programming with SEL continuity
