Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers seeks a Certified Wellness Coach to deliver SEL lessons during the school day at Multicultural Learning Center and to provide pull-out small-group and 1:1 coaching. You will reinforce MLC’s social learning curriculum and thematic SEL calendar across the student day.

The role continues into afterschool programming, ensuring continuity of SEL themes and collaboration with WR staff. Strong trauma-informed practices and the ability to work in a shared oversight model are essential.

Qualifications

• Wellness Coach Certification or eligible to complete certification
• 2+ years of experience with youth in educational/therapeutic settings
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver push-in SEL lessons aligned to MLC curriculum (TK–5th)
• Facilitate pull-out small-group and 1:1 coaching sessions
• Provide structured support during recess, lunch, and transitions
• Coordinate with MLC school staff and participate in weekly planning
• Complete session notes for billing and compliance
• Support afterschool programming and continuity of SEL themes
