Job summary

Rose Brooks Center is seeking a full-time, exempt Prevention Specialist to deliver violence prevention services in Jackson County, Missouri schools. You will teach resiliency and emotional regulation, work closely with Project SAFE staff and students, and help develop and refine curriculum.

Typical duties include maintaining timely program records, reporting outcomes, and participating in trainings. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a strong collaborative approach in a non-profit

Qualifications

Experience working with youth in educational or program settings.
Experience facilitating discussions or educational groups for youth.
Computer literacy and comfortable with record-keeping.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective team member with collaboration and cooperation.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to document services accurately and timely.
Valid driver’s license with proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Teach resiliency skills and emotional regulation in middle and high school classrooms.
Collaborate with Project SAFE staff, school personnel, and students.
Develop and enhance program curriculum independently and with others.
Maintain accurate program records and client outcome reports.
Attend trainings and required staff, team, and supervision meetings.
Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
