Job summary

RAMS, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Trauma/Grief & Loss Group Counselor to provide trauma, grief and mindfulness groups across 18 Wellness Center sites in San Francisco high schools.

The role involves crisis response, consultation with staff and families, and coordinating services within RAMS and partner agencies. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related field, with at least one year of school-based mental health experience, and a commitment to culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field required.
• Experience with mental health and substance abuse services in school settings preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities (Cantonese/Spanish) highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma, grief and mindfulness groups across SF Wellness Centers.
• Offer crisis intervention and assessments for students in need.
• Coordinate care with school staff, families and other professionals.
• Maintain client records per funding source and RAMS policies.
• Provide training and supervision to staff and trainees as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and program development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
