Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Therapist in Chattanooga to provide counseling services to students with behavioral or mental health needs. The role includes family and group counseling, documentation, and collaboration with school staff.

The position requires a Master's degree in a related field and license-eligibility, with clinical experience gained through practicum or internship. A valid driver's license is required for some duties.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a qualifying field as listed.
• License-eligible in the respective discipline.
• Or master's with 24 graduate-level hours in related behavioral health coursework.
• Clinical experience obtained through practicum or internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students experiencing behavioral/mental health difficulties.
• Attend meetings, maintain records, and provide school staff consultation.
• Formulate diagnoses following intake assessments and create/update treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy in virtual or face-to-face settings as needed.
• Respond to urgent needs and communicate with supervisory staff.
