Job summary

Centerstone in Tennessee seeks a School-Based Therapist to provide therapy to students in a school setting, applying sound clinical judgment and collaborating with Putnam County Schools. The role involves conducting intake assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, and delivering therapy in person or virtually, with responsive communication to supervisors and clients.

A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required; license-eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in one of the listed fields.
• License-eligible in respective discipline preferred.
• Or Master's in related field with 24 graduate-level hours in psychology/social work/counseling or related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Formulate a diagnosis upon completion of intake assessment.
• Complete timely clinical documentation.
• Create and update treatment plans according to policy.
• Provide therapy services based on assessment of clinical needs and diagnosis.
• Respond to supervisory communication including urgent care situations in virtual or face-to-face settings.
• Keep administrative supervisor informed of issues that could impact the program or organization.
• Respond to clients' needs promptly and professionally.
• Demonstrate good clinical judgment in client care.
