Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time School Based Therapist to deliver on-site counseling and case management in the Stover-Morgan County area, with year-round work and opportunities for extended breaks. The role includes collaborative treatment planning, emergency response, and coordination with school staff to promote student success.

Qualified applicants hold a master's degree in a licensure-eligible field and active licensure or progression toward licensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in licensure-eligible field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work).
• Active licensure or on track to licensure (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, PLMFT/LMFT).
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Individualized Counseling: provide counseling at school site during operating hours.
• Caseload Management: establish and manage caseload per supervisory guidelines.
• Academic Support: assist in prevention and intervention to boost student achievement.
• Collaborative Treatment Planning: participate in staffings to set goals and plans.
• Emergency Response: provide swift aid during emotional crises at school.
• Follow-Up/Coordination: ensure continuity of care and post-visit support.
• Community Resource Coordination: liaise with school counselors to access resources.
• Clinical Assessment/Intervention: conduct assessments and provide interventions on-site.
• Liaison Role: coordinate care with families across services.
