Job summary

Primary Health Solutions is hiring a School-Based Therapist to deliver behavioral health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention for children and adolescents within the school setting at Kettering Fairmont.

The role collaborates with students, families, school personnel, healthcare providers, and community agencies to promote emotional well-being and academic success through evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline preferred.
• Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and families preferred.
• School-based or community behavioral health experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to students and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Complete treatment plan reviews, outcome measures, and discharge documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case consultation.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement.
