Job summary

NorthKey Community Care is seeking School-Based Mental Health Counselors and Therapists to provide behavioral health therapy to children, adolescents, and families in partner schools in Boone/Kenton County.

This position is adjusted full-time at 32 hours a week during the school year, with summers and breaks off.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a clinical field related to behavioral health (required).
• Eligibility for Kentucky independent or non-independent license is required.
• Must have or be eligible for one of the Kentucky licenses: LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, MFT, LPAT, CADC, LCADC, LPA, PhD, or PsyD.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy for children, adolescents, and families in school/outpatient settings.
• Deliver behavioral health crisis assessment and therapy for children/adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and diagnoses.
• Maintain coordination with multidisciplinary teams and school personnel.
• Complete timely documentation including progress notes, assessments, and schedules.
• Participate in staff development opportunities for professional growth.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications.

Job description

NorthKey Community Care is seeking School-Based Mental Health Counselors and Therapists to provide behavioral health therapy to children, adolescents, and families in partner schools in Boone/Kenton County. This position will be considered ADJUSTED full-time, 32 hours a week during the school year, with summer and breaks off.

• Salary:$2,500 paid bi-monthly ($50,000 annually; Juneand July off)
• Potential for up to 12% contingency bonus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or above in a clinical field of study related to behavioral health.

JOB DUTIES

• Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy services for children, adolescents, and families in a school and/or outpatient office setting.
• Provide behavioral health crisis assessment and therapy services to children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for clients based upon clients' areas of need, diagnoses, and symptoms.
• Maintain multi-disciplinary working relationships with other clinicians, mental health therapists and counselors, school personnel, and other related professionals in the community.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation including progress notes, assessments, reports, schedules, and other material required.
• Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth.
• Maintain license, certification, and/or identified program performance skills.
