Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, with appropriate licensure or licensure in process.
• Licensed professionals may include LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT, LPP, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Registered Nurses may be considered if they possess Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing certification through the ANCC.
• One year of experience working with individuals with mental health needs is preferred but not required.
• Employees must comply with supervision and continuing education requirements established by their licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an assigned caseload of students/consumers and provide appropriate therapeutic services.
• Complete and maintain accurate, current, and confidential clinical records.
• Complete required assessments and documentation, including: Diagnostic Screening, Initial and annual Health Assessments, Initial and annual Bio-Psychosocial Assessments, Treatment Plans, Reviews, Continuing Care documentation, Termination Summaries.
• Participate in regularly scheduled staffings, case conferences, and clinical consultations.
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, agency staff, and other service providers as appropriate.
• Provide services in accordance with applicable professional standards, agency policies, and licensing requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the current job description.
