Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia is seeking a Therapeutic Aide to work 1:1 or in small groups with students inside a local school district. You will implement trauma-informed behavior strategies to increase coping and pro-social skills while reducing disruptive behavior.

The role requires a high school diploma, with a Bachelor's in Behavioral Science preferred; ABA experience is a plus. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within a family-owned agency dedicated to helping youth

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience working with children, ABA experience a plus.
• Behavioral science background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply trauma-informed behavior strategies to support clients in school.
• Observe and document client skills and progress.
• Collaborate with school staff and attend related meetings.
• Coach and support parents/caregivers in behavior management.
• Collect data to help set individual program goals.
