Hanley Foundation seeks a Substance Use Prevention Educator to develop and implement prevention programs in middle and high schools across Hendry and Glades Counties, Florida. The role emphasizes education, outreach, and collaboration with community partners to prevent substance use and addiction.

Candidates must reside in or near Hendry or Glades Counties. This full-time position offers generous benefits and requires travel within the counties to schools, meetings, and events.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
• CPP or CPS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver approved substance use prevention curricula to schools and other agencies in classrooms, assemblies, and events.
• Participate in community coalitions and task forces.
• Recruit and secure locations for program implementation.
• Provide education on substances to parents and staff; promote programs in the community.
• Maintain daily Salesforce/CPG data entries and submit reports on time.
