Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-8 students in a single Maine location. The contract runs Aug 26, 2026 through Jun 12, 2027, with a consistent 7:45 AM–3:00 PM schedule and a 37.5 hour workweek.

You will deliver direct and consultative services, manage a caseload of 30–50 students, and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote student achievement. Prior CCC is preferred and licensure is required.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
  • ASHA CCC highly preferred.
  • Experience serving K-8 populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Flexibility to work with variety of cases.
  • Ability to thrive in a full-time school-based contract

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students across grades K-8.
  • Serve a caseload of approximately 30-50 students, adapting interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student achievement.
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development.
