Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and a CCC-SLP.
• Valid Maine Speech Pathologist license.

Responsibilities

• Assesses students' communication skills to identify disorders and inform treatment.
• Collaborates with parents, teachers, physicians, and staff to provide services per guidelines.
• Coordinates meetings for eligible students (IEPs, evaluations) and presents results.
• Develops treatment plans and educational materials to minimize impact of disorders.
• Instructs staff on communication strategies and use of assistive devices.
• Provides speech-language therapy to students.
• Maintains records and documentation for compliance.
