Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
  • Current and active SLP-CCC certification.
  • State licensure as required for SLP practice.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is valued.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build positive rapport with students, staff, and families.
  • Comfortable providing services for diverse caseloads in group and individual settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
  • Integrate therapeutic goals with classroom objectives and collaborate with teachers.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation; communicate progress with families and teams.
  • Adapt strategies to meet the needs of each student in and out of the classroom.
