Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is preferred.
• G License for the NC Department of Public Instruction is required.
• License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school-based speech-language pathology services and coordinate with staff and family.
• Conduct screening, testing, and diagnosis; supervise assistants and CFs on ASHA requirements.
• Develop Individual Education Plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, LEA representatives and professionals.
• Plan therapy using appropriate diagnostic tools to support curriculum and manage time and resources.
• Provide consultation and referrals for implementation of services.
