PSI is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based positions in Parma, Ohio. This assignment-based opportunity offers full-time or part-time options, weekday schedules, and school hours within a typical 7-hour day.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid SLP license (state-specific).
  • School-based experience preferred, mentorship available.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Passion for supporting student speech, language, and communication development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support MTSS / RTI initiatives as appropriate.

Speech Language Pathologist — School Based - Leave Coverage

Employment Options: Full-Time | Part-Time

Location: Parma, Oh

Schedule: Monday–Friday | School Hours (Typically 7 hour days)

School Year / Contract: Mid August to the End of October

Employment Type: W2 (Benefits Eligible Based on Hours)

Start Date: End of August

Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities)
  • 1–2 building placement when possible
  • Collaborative teams including Psychologists, Counselors, Intervention Specialists, and Administration

You’ll support students’ speech, language, and communication development while helping schools create environments where students can succeed academically and socially.

Core Responsibilities
