Job summary

ESS Clinical partners with schools to fill active, approved SLP positions in Cleveland, OH and surrounding suburbs. You will know assignment details before accepting placement whenever possible, with typical school hours of seven per day, Monday through Friday, throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

The role includes conducting evaluations, developing therapy plans, and providing direct speech-language therapy for PreK–12 students, with collaboration across MTSS/RTI and multidisciplinary teams,

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Valid SLP license (state-specific) required.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support MTSS / RTI initiatives as appropriate.

Employment Options: Full-Time | Part-Time

Location: Cleveland, OH and surrounding suburbs

Schedule: Monday–Friday | School Hours (Typically 7 hour days)

School Year / Contract: 2026-2027 school year

Employment Type: W2 (Benefits Eligible Based on Hours)

Start Date: August

Pay Rate: $48.00/hour

Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)

(When available, ESS Clinical shares real assignment details early in the process)

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities)
  • 1–2 building placement when possible
  • Collaborative teams including Psychologists, Counselors, Intervention Specialists, and Administration
