Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist in Sarasota, FL to support students in the Pupil Support Services-ESE division. The role focuses on assessment, remediation, and collaboration with school staff to implement IEPs.

Responsibilities include screening and therapy planning, data collection, and maintaining confidential records while working within district guidelines and state requirements. A FLDOE license or state licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification by FLDOE and/or licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (Florida).

Responsibilities

• Establish short- and long-range plans based on student needs and district/state requirements.
• Plan therapy programs for eligible students and review IEP annually.
• Conduct screening/diagnostic assessments and interpret results.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning.
• Maintain organized, confidential records and audit files.
• Provide information and inservice to staff on speech-language development.
