Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Florida state certification in speech-language impairment required.
• Temporary certificate eligibility available for candidates who enroll in a graduate program.

Responsibilities

• Identify students with potential speech and language disorders using standardized screening tests.
• Develop referral procedures with teachers, parents, and staff.
• Administer and analyze diagnostic assessments for SLP services.
• Develop and implement IEPs with speech-language therapy goals.
• Provide a range of speech-language therapy services and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Train staff and parents on speech-language therapy goals and programs.
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with district policies.
