Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Teaching Certificate (on file in Central Office).
• Current Speech Pathologist License (on file in Central Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and services for students with communication or related disorders.
• Support students in developing communication skills through both pull-out and push-in service models, consistent with each student’s IEP.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment and respond to individual student needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to support student learning and provide classroom strategies.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with school leaders, special education supervisors, and district teams.
• Use required tools, materials, and technology effectively.
• Adapt to new practices, integrate professional learning, and adjust services as needed.
• Work in partnership with special education and school leadership to help students reach their fullest potential.
