Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an on-site contract in Illinois. The role focuses on providing direct therapy, evaluating students, and supporting speech and language needs within a school-based setting.

The candidate will deliver services aligned with IEP goals, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with district and state regulations. IL licensure and ASHA CCCs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active IL SLP license and ASHA CCCs preferred.
• Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies.
• Ensure services align with state and federal special education regulations.
