Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis to advance students’ communication skills and support their educational success in a school setting. You’ll collaborate with a supervising SLP, teachers, and support staff to implement therapy plans and document progress from day one through the full academic year.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in an SLPA program, state licensure, and experience in schools is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Valid SLPA licensure for the state.
  • Previous experience supporting speech or language services in schools preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and compassionate approach with children.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language interventions to students under supervision of licensed SLP.
  • Implement therapy plans, document student progress, and assist in preparing materials.
  • Conduct screenings and assist with assessments as directed.
  • Support students in achieving their speech-language goals within the classroom and individually.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate on progress reports for educators and families.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the positive culture within the school.
